Dr. Jeenam is a Consultant Chest Physician and Interventional Pulmonologist, who received his education from the renowned KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He also has a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology and Thoracic Oncology in Guangzhou, China.
He currently serves at the Wockhardt and Saifee Hospitals in South Mumbai. His academic career has been excellent with him acting as an assistant professor in the Department of Chest Medicine and EPRC at Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital. He is also the 1st Pulmonologist in Mumbai and 2nd overall in India to be certified as an Interventional Pulmonologist.
In his illustrious career of over a decade, his contribution to the field and his patients has been evident like never before during the past COVID pandemic where his dedication was awarded, by being named as one of the top 30 doctors in India for covid treatment by FORBES Magazine and by being awarded by the governor of Maharashtra for excellence in COVID treatment.
In his field, he takes on various respiratory diseases including his specialty, asthma. He also as said before is a pioneer in Interventional pulmonology dealing with early diagnosis and management of lung cancer and minimally invasive novel non-surgical treatment of respiratory disorders.
