Doctors association of worli
- On 16th July 2023, we Symbiosis Speciality Hospital hosted an event for Doctors association of worli.
- The function was held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, almost 120 doctors were present along with their families.
- Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar and Dr. Bhavesh Popat delivered their talks to the members present at the event, followed by a DJ night, Orchestra, and reel making competition.

Midtown Medicos Association
- Midtown Medicos Association and Symbiosis Specialty Hospital collaborated to organize a CME on August 5, 2023.
- The CME, which took place at Hotel Pritam (Dadar), featured more than 60 doctors.
- To grace the occasion, Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar, Dr. Bhavesh Popat, and, Dr. Narayan Deshmukh presented their talks to the attending doctors. Followed by breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea.
- Symbiosis Speciality Hospital once again thanks all the Midtown Medicos Association doctors for attending the CME.
Symbiosis Speciality Hospital August 10, 2023 CME
- On August 10, 2023, Symbiosis Speciality Hospital and Mumbai Central General Practitioners collaborated for a CME.
- Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar, and Dr. Bhavesh Popat delivered a talk on recent advances in cardiology and recent updates in treatments for varicose veins and diabetic foot.
- The CME was attended by Dr. Saifee Dohadwala, Dr. Ali, Dr. Imran Chikani, Dr. Murtaza, Dr. Khojema Merchant, and Dr. Zafar Fatehi.
- We Symbiosis Speciality Hospital thank the entire team of Mumbai Central General Practitioners for attending the CME held at Sahil Hotel (Mumbai Central).

- On August 25, 2023, CME was held at Symbiosis Speciality Hospital, learning center, where Dr. Chetan Shenoy (General and Laparoscopic surgeon) and Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar (Interventional Cardiologist) delivered their talks.
- We specially thank the attending doctors, Dr. Rajesh Gokhani, Dr. Vijay Chinchale, Dr. Ashish Mulgaonkar, Dr. R. P. Joshi, Dr. Kiran Awari, Dr. Gopal Mangaonkar, and Dr. Vinay Shetty, for dedicating their time to attend the CME.
Dr. Ankur Talk
- During a global cardiology event hosted by Abiomed in Goa, Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar, Director of Symbiosis Speciality Hospital, presented a remarkable case.
- The patient faced severe aortic stenosis and underwent a impella-guided angioplasty followed by transaortic valve replacement (TAVI). Complicated by calcific left main disease and significant left ventricle dysfunction.
- This was the one-of-its-kind procedure executed by an interventional cardiologist in India and was highly appreciated by the top cardiologists from around the world present for the medical event.
ITC Parel Talk
- Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar (Interventional Cardiologist) presented a case study on MitraClip at ITC Hotel (Parel)
- The patient had severe mitral regurgitation, and despite the high risk, the procedure was a success, leading to significant post-procedural health improvement.
- Mumbai's top cardiologists, surgeons, and MD physicians attended the talk and highly praised the presented case.

- It was a moment of great honor as the esteemed directors of Symbiosis Speciality Hospital, Dr. Bhavesh Popat and Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar, were invited as chief guests at the National Integrated Medical Association 2024 held in Mumbai.
